Abstract This study develops a framework for integrating the Metaverse into the banking industry to enhance customer experience, improve efficiency, and support digital transformation. With the growth of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and the advancement of digital technologies, banks must adopt innovative tools to remain competitive and deliver superior services.
A mixed-method design was applied, combining qualitative meta-synthesis and quantitative analysis. From 200 studies on Metaverse in banking, 35 were selected for detailed review. In the qualitative stage, MAXQDA 2020 enabled initial, axial, and pattern coding to identify major themes. The Fuzzy Delphi Method was then conducted with 15 experts in banking technology and information systems across two rounds to refine and validate indicators. In the final stage, a structured questionnaire was administered to 300 banking professionals, and the data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and structural equation modeling (SEM).
Findings validated 98 indicators organized into nine categories: customer experience, digital services, security and privacy, infrastructure and technology, marketing and branding, human resource development, data analytics, applied technologies, and operational features. Together, these categories form a structured roadmap for applying Metaverse solutions in banking, balancing customer-centered innovation with internal process optimization. The study concludes that successful Metaverse adoption in banking depends on strategic alignment, governance, and active institutional participation in digital ecosystems. The proposed framework offers practical guidance for leveraging Metaverse opportunities to improve efficiency, strengthen customer engagement, and accelerate digital transformation in banking.

Milad Roshany, Reza Dehkhodaei, Fatemeh Hamidi, Fatemeh Zandian

Abstract Since the progress of science towards specialization, a kind of distance between awareness and knowledge has been created. But there are some views that believe that since all sciences are born of a single science, then the world of science should become a single land. An example of such a view is evident in cybernetics. Cybernetics emerged from the 20th century and has entered most sciences with the aim of investigating the nature of control and communication in humans, machines, and animals, as well as by paying attention to concepts such as communication, control, feedback, stability, regulation, information, etc. Metaverse is also an emerging phenomenon in which we witness the interaction between man and machine and actually the interaction between physical and virtual space. The study of sources shows the wide application of cybernetics in various sciences, and considering the importance and practical role of cybernetics in order to solve problems, control and regulate systems and create stability and stability in various sciences, in the present research, a review of the available studies in a library method in the field of cybernetics applications until its applications as a unit in various sciences such as industry, physics, chemistry, computer science, management, information storage and retrieval systems, cyber security, psychiatry (psychocybernetics), physiology, biology (biocybernetics), control Bioelectricity and medicine should be investigated in the metaverse space. By using cybernetic principles in various sciences, Metaverse can be used for its evolution to adapt to the life of humanity.

Volume 1, Issue 1, Winter 2025, Pages 19-28

Mila Malekolkalami, Mohammad Hassanzadeh

Abstract This study aims to identify the main components in a Knowledge Extraction System based on Single Sign-On in libraries. This research is with a mixed approach and it is an exploration based on the Sandelusky and Bargo (2006) model.  The studies from 2000 to 2022 were analyzed in ATLAS Ti software. In the quantitative phase, the statistical population is 12 experts in knowledge management and libraries who were selected by purposeful sampling. MICMAC software was used for the ISM method. 40 codes were categorized into 4 main themes of knowledge extraction based on SSO features including Infrastructural measures of knowledge extraction, Knowledge organization, Integration of knowledge, and Monitoring and updating knowledge. Access using unit code with the rank of 1 and frequency of 12 is one of the most important components in a knowledge extraction system based on SSO in libraries. According to the ISM, the knowledge extraction system based on SSO in libraries has four levels. Since SSO is one of the hot trends and high topics in the field of libraries, there can be a knowledge extraction system based on SSO features to help share and develop knowledge.
